Job SummaryTo provide a day-long walking tour through the Polynesian Cultural Center in the guest’s native language that is factual and in a way that reflects the Polynesian Cultural Center's standards of excellence.
Job ResponsibilitiesPosition Scope Provides guided walking tour in the guest’s native language. Assists guests throughout the tour, answering questions whenever possible. Receives guest arrival information and provides initial greeting and orientation.
Requirements
Must have a basic knowledge about the various cultural areas encountered during the tour. Requires good health and a voice that can endure up to four hours of speaking in any given time frame. Must be fluent in a designated foreign language. Must be capable of a full range of body movement and be capable of moving freely among the guests. Must be able to speak, read and write in English. Must attach resume and class schedule (weekly view) Should be a high school graduate or the equivalent.
No Prior Work Experience Required.

Physical RequirementsWork is normally performed in all kinds of weather. Job hazards include, but are not limited to, colds, sunburn, and a strained voice. Uses electronic megaphones, radios and brooms. Uses paper and a variety of writing instruments to fill out reports. Work hours vary according to assigned shift, Monday thru Saturday with three days off.
